AS GENERAL MERCHANDISING MANAGER

MISSOULA, MONT — Bigskycountry.com announced Kristin Choi joined the online specialty outdoor retailer's leadership team as General Merchandising Manager Aug. 5. In her new position, Choi will guide the merchandising department, and is responsible for defining and executing the sales and merchandising strategy for all customer points of contact.
Choi spent the last 13 years working in sales and merchandising in the outdoor retailing industry, the last six as a Senior Buyer with Backcountry.com. During her tenure with Backcountry.com, in addition to planning and purchasing, she authored and executed partnership agreements with vendors relating to shipping and merchandising.
"Kristin's knowledge and experience will be tremendous assets to Bigskycountry.com," says Paul Nisbet, General Manager at the online retailer. "She joins at a critical time in our development, as we transition from the startup phase into a period of rapid growth. In addition to her career at Backcountry.com, Choi worked as a buyer and store manager at Roundhouse Ski and Sports in Bozeman, MT, and as a sales representative for various brands in the outdoor industry, including Volant Skis and Palmer Snowboards.
