Everything about the Sage 45 pack by Gregory hangs off of the 3D harness and waistband. Which only makes sense, because, when you think about it, it's the suspension system that is going to make or break you on the trail. Gregory has engineered the Intuition 3D Suspension system with a cross ridged back panel for load distribution and a lightweight, sturdy wishbone wire frame that prevents upper pack barreling. But, it's the 3D harness and waist belt, working in concert, that provide the comfort. The molded 3D shoulder straps, normally found in more expensive packs, are designed to support without binding. They are substantially more comfortable than standard shoulder straps. Plus, the 3D straps and as the entire pack are cut and designed for a woman's proportions.
